Srinagar cut off, yellow alert for Delhi weather

A fresh western disturbance brought heavy snowfall to northwestern India, blocking off Srinagar and causing disruption to transport. Delhi also experienced showers and a yellow alert was issued for dense fog. The weather has seen a sharp turnaround this month, with record rainfall in Delhi. Despite the rain, Delhi’s pollution levels remained poor.
