Missions to moon, sun likely to take place in July
India's space agency, ISRO, is set to launch the third edition of its lunar exploration programme, Chandrayaan-3, and its first sun mission, Aditya-L1, in July. Chandrayaan-3 will include a lander module, propulsion module and rover, while Aditya-L1 will study the sun from an orbit around the L1 point, 1.5 million km away from Earth towards the sun.
