Akal Takht Jathedar accused Punjab govt. of creating panic ahead of Baisakhi & criticised heavy deployment of security personnel in Talwandi Sabo. He also urged members of the Sikh community to assemble in large numbers for Baisakhi & called on radical preacher Amritpal Singh to surrender. The Jathedar expressed concern over the "fake narrative" being spread against Sikhs in the media & announced a new platform to track and bust "anti-Sikh" content being circulated online. He directed the SGPC to file a complaint against police terming flags of erstwhile Sikh rule as Khalistan flags.
