PM’s US visit to be a watershed, says General Atomics chief executive
India is expected to purchase 31 Predator drones from the US for a reported $3bn, and General Atomics Global Corporation CEO Vivek Lall has lauded the move as a "watershed" moment in the countries' defence relationship. The acquisition is set to be cleared by India's cabinet committee on security during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to the US. Lall said he hoped the industrial ties between the two nations would be strengthened in the years ahead, particularly regarding shared interests in technology and innovation.
