Construction of the first floor of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is expected to begin by the end of the month, with work on the ground floor nearing completion, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The temple is expected to be inaugurated in January 2022, and the trust has sent an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggesting three auspicious dates for the opening ceremony. The temple’s foundation was laid in August 2020, and it is being monitored by senior functionaries. The temple is 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width and 161 feet high from the courtyard.
